Bernie’s Book Bank is fortunate to have thousands of incredible volunteers who are the lifeblood of our organization.
There is a growing group of volunteers who commit an extraordinary amount of time to support Bernie’s Book Bank. Officially recognized as the Monarch Society, anyone can join! Membership requires you to commit to volunteering 50 Hours over a 12-month period. The entire Bernie’s Book Bank team is grateful to Monarch Society members and their generous commitment to the children who receive our books
As a member of the Monarch Society, you agree to:
- Volunteer 50 hours in a 12-month period
- Provide a birthdate for participating children at sign-in
- Provide your t-shirt size if you’d like to receive an exclusive Monarch Society tee.
- Complete the form below for every person participating, even if they are in the same family
As part of the Monarch Society, you will receive ongoing communication via email, enjoy permanent recognition in the Bernie’s Book Bank Processing Center, receive an exclusive t-shirt, and most importantly, support the children we serve in a meaningful way. Once you reach 50 hours of service, you can work toward lifetime achievements (150 hours, 300 hours, 600 hours, and 1,200 hours) and are recognized with a unique pin for each milestone.

Can Children Join?
Yes! Bernie’s Book Bank welcomes volunteers of all ages and abilities. We encourage children to join parents and caregivers and make a volunteer commitment.
