A family-friendly outdoor reading event in select communities.
Bernie’s Book Bank is proud to present Storefront StoryWalks in partnership with select communities this season. StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors.
Pages from a children’s book will be installed in the windows of local businesses in sequential order so the content can be read from the outside. As families stroll down the sidewalk, they are directed to the next page in the story with a related activity. New children’s books are introduced throughout!
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and has been experienced in 50 states and 13 countries
