Bernie’s Book Bank is proud to be the beneficiary of “Books For Buckets,” an initiative to promote book ownership in the local community by Rose Pest Solutions and Northwestern Athletics.
Rose Pest Solutions, as part of the Books for Buckets program, will donate a set of 12 books through Bernie’s Book Bank for every three-point basket the Northwestern Men’s Basketball team makes throughout the 2018-19 season.
Northwestern fans can also support this initiative. Each fan that donates a minimum of 6 books through the Books for Buckets campaign will receive one free Men’s Basketball Ticket to a TBD home game. The books should be new or gently used and appropriate for ages birth-6th grade; no reference, activity, religious or text books please.
Northwestern and Rose Pest Solutions will hold a book donation drive at the home football game vs. Wisconsin on October 27th, 2018. Bring your books to the Rose Pest Solutions tent located in Wildcat Alley, Northeast corner of Ryan Field, as early as three (3) hours prior to kickoff. At that time, while donating 6 books, you will receive a non-conference Men’s Basketball ticket as a thank you, just for donating!
Can’t make it to the game? You can donate books at Bernie’s Book Bank from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday between November 1st – December 1st. You can also donate books at a Rose Pest Solutions facility near you.

While donating, be sure to mention you are donating for the Books for Buckets book drive to be entered in to win a VIP Experience at a home Men’s Basketball game. The winner will receive 4 tickets, 4 pre-game passes to watch warm-ups from the court and an autographed Coach Collins basketball. Go Wildcats!
