A real estate group will host a Children’s book drive this month to support Bernie’s Book Bank, which provides books to low-income families.
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group in Lake Forest will host the drive from June 6-13 at their office at 778 N. Western Ave. in Lake Forest, according to a community post on the Lake Forester.
“This event has really made us think about the importance of books in our lives and the impact they have,” said Mark Pasquesi, Vice President and Managing Broker of the Lake Forest office. “Think about your favorite book when you were a child, or if you have kids, think of your child’s favorite book. We hope you’ll consider sharing that book with a child who is less fortunate.”
Berkshire Hathaway Realty Group’s Lake Forest office for helping to organize volunteer efforts to benefit Bernie’s Book Bank, an organization that collects, processes and distributes quality new and gently used children’s books to significantly increase book ownership among at-risk infants, toddlers and school-age children throughout Chicagoland.
