On Monday, September 30th, Bernie’s Book Bank distributed its 10 millionth Chicago Public Schools book since 2009. Smiling children from George B. Armstrong greeted Bernie’s Book Bank team and supporters as they distributed the books.
Principal Otis Dunson showed his appreciation for Bernie’s Book Bank in his opening remark: “There’s nothing quite like the excitement of a child coming home with a new book, eager to read and share what they’ve learned. Bernie’s Book Bank has truly enhance the Armstrong community and we are deeply grateful for their ongoing support and partnership.”
