Goddard Schools Partner with Bernie’s Book Bank Greater Milwaukee on CBS 58

Hometown book drive expands access to books for kids and families

On Thursday, January 29, Greater Milwaukee Executive Director Jenna Renno joined Sarah Hall, owner of The Goddard School of Pleasant Prairie, on CBS 58 to announce an exciting new partnership with the Goddard Schools of Southeastern Wisconsin.

While this partnership is new to our Greater Milwaukee region, the Goddard School has been a valued partner of Bernie’s Book Bank’s Chicagoland Chapter for more than 12 years. As Bernie’s Book Bank continues to expand into new markets, we are proud to build on trusted relationships and bring mission-aligned partners into new communities.

We are grateful to partner with an organization that shares our deep commitment to early childhood literacy and recognizes the importance of teaching students, from a young age, how to give back to their community.

To kick off this partnership, the Goddard Schools are hosting a community book drive from January 15 through February 27. Donations of new and gently used children’s books can be dropped off at the Goddard School of Brookfield or the Goddard School of Pleasant Prairie, helping children and families across the region build in-home libraries.
