“I came to the organization as a long-time volunteer. In 2010, I organized a used book drive at my children’s elementary school. In the summers, our Friday morning family activity was to volunteer stickering and sorting books.

This mission is dear to my heart because I was just like many of the kids who receive our books. Growing up, I didn’t have books at home, but I was lucky to find my way to a lifetime love of reading through my local library.
