Today we are thinking of our organization’s namesake and inspiration for providing books for a better life, Dr. Bernard P. Floriani, on what would have been his 70th birthday. We celebrate his legacy through each book distribution, with love and the utmost admiration. His life was a gift to the over 330,000 at-risk children we will serve in 2017.
Bernie spent his entire professional life promoting literacy, and his legacy lives on through his son – whose vision of changing children’s lives has led to more than 9 MILLION quality books distributed to at-risk children throughout Chicagoland. Thanks Bernie!
