Rock the Bank 2012 was a Rockin’ Success!
The 2nd annual Rock the Bank fundraiser was a rockin’ success by all accounts! More than 400 people came to enjoy great music, never-ending delicious food and refreshing drinks, and inspiring conversation with friends and fans of Bernie’s Book Bank.
Partygoers were treated to music by three terrific musical groups: David Hawkins, Daniela Sloan, and The Turnstyles. Most in attendance also took the time to tour the warehouse to learn more about Bernie’s Book Bank, how we process books, and why our work is so important.
Event Raised More Than $35,000!
The support of so many people from communities throughout Chicago and its suburbs helped us raise $35,000 at Rock the Bank, which will contribute to the growth and sustainability of Bernie’s Book Bank, and help us connect more children needing books with books needing children!
